After the enjoyment of partaking in countless lunches and dinners, I thought it a good idea to share with you the pubs and restaurants that I think are good value and, well, just nice to visit.
The Mill House, Hartford Marina Having just tried one of their "Buy One Get One Free" meals , I can definitely recommend the Mill House at Hartford Marina. The deal is - buy two main meals and the cheapest is free, so with Scampi at £8.75 for two, it's a bargain. The drinks are reasonably priced and the restaurant looks out over the Marina - a lovely setting. Service is good and quick (I went Saturday lunch) and the food quality is excellent - and then there is the view ....

The Jolly Butchers The food and drinks at the Butchers are reasonably priced and the quality of the food is undoubtedly good. My favourite was the scampi BUT I couldn't find it on the menu on a recent visit - I loved that scampi (and I think the scampi loved me!)
Walk towards Huntingdon from the Clock Tower and you're there!
