Judging from the snapping of cameras on a Sunday morning, The Mill is unarguably Houghton's most photographed attraction, apart from the friendly locals, of course.

If you walk through the Mill down to the lock, you encounter a bridge that goes over it, and here we present a panorama taken from the middle of that bridge.

Although suffering from the limitations of putting a three dimensional scene into the two dimensions of a website, it gives some idea of the majesty of the area ( poetic, aren't I ! )
