"My mother always told me that her Mother's family came from Wyton England, and that the village was named after their family. Unfortunately, my mother and grandmother, aunts and uncles(to my mother) are all deceased.

Emily Wyton and she married Arthur Jackson here in Canada. My grandfather moved to Canada as a young boy, and I assume that the same was for my grandmother. She may have been born in Wyton, as she was the eldest child,and was on her own when younger siblings were born here in Canada.
